When it comes to doing things differently in order to improve health, fitness, or quality of life, the change that occurs is often temporary – and therein lies the problem! That’s why fad diets, and the latest greatest workout sensation is typically short lived. It’s not that they don’t work, they typically do, it’s just not a long term solution.
In order for any change to be permanent, one must be willing to live with that change permanently, for the rest of their life. The key then, to successful lifelong change, is HABIT. The best example of which is brushing your teeth – you do it every day, and you don’t even think about it.
